In the Fall of 2014, I had a dream where I was standing in a large field that was being cleared of trees for the construction of a nuclear power plant. There was a large 18-wheel tractor-trailer dump truck parked there as part of the construction equipment. An unknown man was talking to me about the “transport” of power to other locations and I had the idea that this was some high-tech physics related equipment or process. After I woke up, I was not able to remember anything else he said.
What On Earth Did That Mean…
At first, the only thing I could figure out was that the dump truck could be symbolic of either bringing in something new (to me); but that didn’t fit the dream because there it was used to remove things that needed to be cleared for the construction of the new project. The nuclear plant symbol was a bit uncertain except that Biblically, Acts 1:8 says we “receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon [us]”. I had a very strong impression about the transport term and some vague conceptualization of the technology behind it, like some type of high level particle / quantum physics. That was all I knew back when I had the dream. But now about 9-10 months later, here’s where it all got very interesting…
In August of 2015, I was listening to a message called “Protons” by David E. Taylor. He was speaking about the scientific aspects of the Bible that are for the most part, very poorly understood and not taught in churches. The topic was something I have heard from many others who appear on Sid Roth’s weekly TV show “It’s Supernatural”. It concerns what appears in Acts 8:39-40 where Philip was transported supernaturally from one location to another.
Side Note: This is yet another Biblical passage that I found myself one day a few years ago. I had never once heard this preached in my pre-Pentecostal church experiences anywhere (no surprise).
As I was listening to the “Protons” message, the word “transport” came back to me with a very strong impression concerning what the unknown man told me in the dream. Going back to the passage about Philip in Acts 8, it says he was “caught away” and was then found in another city. In other words, he was transported. My dream was not about building power stations; I don’t have any personal need for that! The “transport” issue that the man was telling me about was related to this supernatural transportation. The nuclear power station was something that only I would recognize because ever since receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit three years ago, I began telling people that it is like being plugged in to a “nuclear power station” (Acts 1:8).
Am I Going To Lose You Here?
This dream is a prophecy of things being cleared away for the power of the Holy Spirit to operate in ways beyond intellectual comprehension. Most people who claim to be a Christian today believe the Bible is nothing more than a monument to what God did in the past but do not believe any of those things happen today. In short, it’s become a history book devoid of power. This dream was given to me but it is not limited to only me. If you believe the Bible is 100% for today then this is astounding news for you just as it is for me. God tells us in Proverbs 25:2 that He wants us to be divine code breakers and this has become a major theme of my life in recent years. Here’s the message, short and simple (as any good dream interpretation should be): “Get ready, God is about to use some of you for His kingdom work in far away places and you won’t need an airplane ticket to get there.”
- God speaks to us in terms that only we will recognize personally
- God speaks to us in dream codes certain things that our intellect would never accept
- Sometimes we “lose” (forget) parts of our dreams because God is sealing those things away, to be revealed at a later time
- Nuclear “transport” refers directly to the spiritual technology of being transported physically from one location to another and is a prophetic dream which will be fulfilled in the near future
- Do not limit God as was done back in the wilderness during the time of Moses
