It’s been over a year since I wrote anything serious about the Biblical prophetic meaning of numbers and now finally I have something new to discuss.  This is going to serve as a follow up to my previous article and will also include a few tips on how you can decipher number codes that you may get.

Just recently I had two dreams with a short number series that revealed a little more about my own near-term future assignment. I’m going to show here what they both were and how it was the patterns and current life context that led to discovering the meaning. 

Metaphoric Significance

Numbers have as much Biblical symbolic meaning as almost any other metaphoric symbol you may see in a dream, vision or everyday life. Numbers are found frequently all over the Bible and many of them have prophetic significance including for events that have not yet taken place.

In my first article, I gave a list of resources for how you can find the Biblical meaning to almost any number. I also showed how a series of numbers that appeared in a dream can be deciphered to get the message behind them. If you have not read that article, you might take a look at it now: Numbers: Biblical Significance in Dreams and Prophecy. 

Everything is Numbered!

In case you’ve never done a serious study of the Bible, let me say from experience that God is very much into details. We often overlook this because our capacity to dive into extremes is limited but God tells us clearly that He counts everything that exists!

He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.
(Psalm 147:4 NKJV)

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
(Matthew 10:30 NKJV)

Whether or not you realize it, in our own modern-day reality we’ve done the same. Numbers more or less control or categorize everything in our life. You have a phone number, a street address, a zip (postal) code, a government ID (SSAN for US citizens), bank account numbers, vehicle ID numbers (VIN), a serial number on your electronic equipment, the number of calories on your food labels and many more that identifies you and your belongings.

If that wasn’t enough, do a study of how computers and memory chips operate. You’ll find they require millions of combinations of one’s and zero’s that all make up the background processing which produces useful information on your phones, tablets, laptops, etc. The point being that you cannot go anywhere in life without seeing how prevalent numbers are everywhere you turn.

Key fact: Numbers are an extremely dense information macrocode used as a concise and efficient way of identifying and even categorizing people, places, objects and concepts. When used in communications, they greatly reduce the length of a transmitted message. 

Since numbers are such a huge part of life, why would anyone think God’s means of communicating with us is any different?! With this in mind, let’s now look at two real life recent dreams with number sequences and see how they can be deciphered.

Dream 1: Money

March 1, 2017 – A woman I know named Rebekah and her sister are in a parking lot in an SUV and they are telling me they want to give me money. It seems the money actually belongs to her sister and I have an impression that it’s about $40,000 (US).

Personal Significance

Rebekah is a real woman who I know from Africa so her “sister” in this dream is possibly another person similar to her from Africa. At the very least, it would mean someone who was also a Christian with similar traits to what this real Rebekah has.  But there could also be something different going on with the significance of her name, even if it did not necessarily tie in to Africa. Let’s get to that in a minute…

Money being given can be either literal or symbolic of some type of favor. The meaning of 40,000 was not immediately obvious to me for several weeks. I really was not sure if this was about receiving actual money or maybe something different. As I began thinking about this, I kept going back to the possible symbolic reference to the name Rebekah and a connection to a Biblical character. Here’s where it all started to make more sense…

“But before I had finished speaking in my heart, there was Rebekah, coming out with her pitcher on her shoulder; and she went down to the well and drew water. And I said to her, ‘Please let me drink.’ And she made haste and let her pitcher down from her shoulder, and said, ‘Drink, and I will give your camels a drink also.’ So I drank, and she gave the camels a drink also.
(Genesis 24:45-46 NKJV)

This passage has an element of favor in it because Rebekah is being shown that as a result of her act of service toward a stranger. This favor results in her being given the option to marry an unknown man and she receives valuable jewelry as well. That idea led me to conclude that receiving money was most likely referring to some type of favor. Two passages came up in a word search that tied in to that theme; one as it relates to wealth and the other about entering a “promised land”.

Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
(1 Kings 4:26 NKJV)

About forty thousand prepared for war crossed over before the Lord for battle, to the plains of Jericho.
(Joshua 4:13 NKJV)

That was a good start but it seemed something else was still hidden. I began thinking that this 40,000 can also be broken up into several separate elements. First, 40 is the number of years Israel spent in the wilderness and at the end, they crossed into the promised land. That’s a perfect fit for Joshua 4:13 so we can accept that. Next, 1,000 is symbolic of a continuously increasing amount (Deuteronomy 1:11) and this also fits the idea of living in a “promised land”.

10,000 is a number that connected with me because of an article I had just written on kingdom alliances where Deuteronomy 32:30 was prophetically significant. Aside from that, it also can mean an extremely large amount, almost beyond count (see these key passages). All of these together relate to my own personal circumstances right now so each separate element can all be accepted as the meaning of this mysterious $40,000. 

In reality, I’ve been in search of two people who will soon hold a critical place in my own personal calling. They are each very different and will serve completely different roles in my life. Just in the last few months, I’ve received a series of dreams with symbols that appear to connect with these two.  That’s a much longer topic than I want to include here but should appear in a future article.

Dream 2: Airplane Tail Number

​May 13, 2017 – I’m in a small airplane at the end of a runway. While I’m waiting for take off, I suddenly realize the tower doesn’t know I’m there so I need to contact them for departure clearance. I then look down to see what my aircraft tail number is and I get this: 56654.

Personal Significance

First thing, this is one of many dreams I’ve had about aircraft. As I’ve written in previous articles, this does not really have anything to do with the fact that I am a licensed pilot and have flown on and off for a number of years. Airplanes are symbolic of your calling and various types of aircraft relate to different aspects of that. I knew at the most basic level that this dream was about me being on the verge of “departing” for my next long awaited assignment. 

With that understood, the mystery was to discover the meaning of this 56654. My first two searches were to find out if this was a literal number that may have the answer I needed. As it turns out, there is an actual zip code for a city/town in Minnesota but that did not bear any relevance to me. Next I found a real aircraft registered with this number but, I didn’t sense any obvious relevance to my life there either. What I did next was to look at the arrangement of the numbers to find a meaning. 

Looking at 56654, we can see a pattern if we first understand the basics of the meaning of each number taken separately. Here’s what we have as it relates to my personal context:

• 6 = man (also includes woman)
• 5 = abundance, favor and work/multi-tasking (five fingers)
• 4 = dominion, rule, new season, material creations and creative works

My next thought was to take all the numbers and add them all together (26). I wasn’t sure 26 had any direct meaning but it led back to the fact that there are two 6’s in this sequence. And that was where I began to get the idea of what was going on. Here’s what I found…

The two 6’s represent two “men” with one of those being myself and the other could be a man or woman. The 5’s appear on each side of the 6’s which could indicate they are surrounded by abundance and favor and are in some type of context where they are working together. This lead directly back to my above note on Deuteronomy 32:30 so now I knew I was onto something. The single 4 then became an added characterization of the combination of the 5665 sequence and appears to point to something new about to “take off”.

With all that in mind, this entire sequence now appears to describe exactly what I’ve been waiting for in two different aspects of life at the time of this writing. So my imminent departure for the next assignment is connected with the arrival of a mystery person who will be a type of partner of either a business or personal nature or probably both. Keep an eye out for an update to this because this is exactly the subject of many previous articles.

Keys to Deciphering Numbers

In case you didn’t catch it from my above discussions, there are a few keys you can use from my examples to deciphering any number code you may get. The first is to understand the context of your life at the time you see one of these appear. Number codes are generally of a prophetic nature and will spell out something that’s getting ready to happen in your future. It may be (like me) connected to something you are expecting and therefore the starting point to decoding these may be exactly that.

The next key is to separate each number into various elements to see what a potential break down may produce.  If the number is a long sequence, see if you can separate it into first single digits, then hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, etc. This is where you will need to do a Biblical search to find passages where those numbers appear as they relate to the context of your life.

Next, look for patterns and the arrangement of single digits in a sequence. Does anything stand out once you understand the meaning of each separate digit? In my case, I had to start with the two central 6’s and then move outwards to see they were surrounded by 5’s and then finalized by a 4. It may help to separate all repeated numbers and note how many times each occurs. If the numbers appear to be paired up as mine did, that may also be a clue to consider.

Last but not least, if all else fails, go back to what I did in the beginning and just plug the numbers directly into a Google search and see what comes up. I got an actual aircraft tail number and a US city zip code – none of those were significant to me but it proves you can sometimes get your answer from a search of the literal string of numbers themselves.

This can be difficult for me to do because of the connection to key factors in your life that I am not aware of. The purpose of this article is to give you some keys you can use as a starting point to finding the meaning of any numbers you might receive.
