Life Calling Dreams: An Analytical Look At Patterns & Timelines of Progressive Revelation

Have you ever thought of looking at your dreams from the perspective of frequency trend or pattern analysis? Here’s something I’ve been noticing in my own series of what I’ve called “science dreams” which are about part of my life calling. In the midst of looking over all my dreams repeatedly to find connections and clues over the last few years, something stood out to me and I thought I’d pass it along here.

Perhaps you’ve noticed that God deals with patterns all through the Bible and this is something I also emphasized repeatedly in my newest ebook. Today, I thought I’d show you something with my own dream series and see if God speaks to you about your dreams using what I noticed with my own.

What I’ve done here today was to add up all my dreams that are specifically about my upcoming energy technology “invention thing“ and make a series of simple charts to see what might stand out. As you look at these below, see how this might apply for yourself.

Big Picture Perspective Of Timing

I’ll say right up front, this blog may look like rather mathematical and you might be wondering, “ok, what do I do with this?!” If that’s your first impression, no problem, I get it. But just like I titled my recent ebook, this blog is going to serve as a bridge between the supernatural and science.

My overall intent is to show how dreams associated with your life calling may come just like the Bible says… “here a little, there a little” (Isaiah 28:10). I believe if you at least scan all this over, it will help put your own life calling dreams into a context and give you a pretty good overall perspective of how God scatters these out over a period of months and even years.

I’ve come to realize that the more you understand God’s ways from a big picture, strategic-level view, the more all the little details of your life will start to make sense. That includes things like God’s timing and especially as it relates to how things may probably appear to be taking a very long time.

From my own experience since 2014 when I had my first ever life calling dream, I have wondered many times what was going on with this big thing I’ve been writing about here in all my “science dreams” blogs. If you go back and look at everything I’ve put up on this blog site, you’ll get the idea quickly that many months went by where I had absolutely nothing new to say. To be honest, this became frustrating because I felt like I was in a constant start-stop time-space continuum loop (much less fun than it sounds).

Many times I had wanted to get on a video or blog and tell about the next big clue God had shown me, or better yet, just finally come out and tell what exactly “the thing” was that God had been giving me hints about for these last several years. There were even times when I thought a dream or a prophetic sign I had received was showing me that “in the next several days / weeks, I’d be finally getting THE IDEA!” But in all those cases, I did not always get what I was expecting.

What I didn’t realize was that the timespan of all this was going to be much longer than I anticipated. And because of that, I wanted to show you this example of mine with the hard facts so you can use this yourself to get an idea how God may scatter your own life calling dreams over a lengthy period of time as well. That is why I’ve taken the time to go back through all my dream journal notes and spreadsheets to make these charts so you can see all this in a visual style illustration.

Chart Analysis Of Life Calling Dreams

Here below, you can see in fairly exact detail how my dreams came in regarding frequency per year and per month. As you look at these charts below, I have broken these down first, into dreams per year and then secondly, dreams per month for each of the three years that I received the most dreams. Take a look at these charts now and then I’ll explain a bit more about the patterns in each below these.

Looking at that chart above, you can see very few dreams between 2014 and 2016, but then a noticeable increase for the next three years. Since the first three years were so low, it only makes sense to take a slightly closer look at the last three years to see the distribution of dreams throughout each of those years. That’s what’s in the next section here…

As you look at these next charts below, something odd should stand out just at a very quick casual glance. Look at the max dreams per month for each of these years. Notice how each year seems to have its own primary number.

2017 … #3
2018 … #5
2019 … #2

Therefore, the pattern is 3-5-2.

But look again at the middle year (2018) because it looks like a bridge between 2017 and 2019 because that one year has each of the primary numbers found occurring as lesser numbers. But that’s not all, look at each separate year and you can see how the lesser numbers add to the primary numbers for each year. I’ll explain that more below the charts.

Did you see what I was trying to point out?

For 2017, the primary number was 3 and the lesser numbers were 1 and 2.
For 2018, the primary number was 5 and the lesser were 2 and 3.
For 2019, the primary number was 2 and the lesser was 1.

I suppose you might say all this is either interesting or just “so what”. I’ll admit it is rather academic looking and I’m not usually too excited about facts for the sake of facts. Regardless of what you make of it, remember the primary purpose of this blog is not to get into a bunch of math or accounting but rather to show how the dreams you get about your life calling are going to be spaced out over a lengthy time period.

Strange Pattern, Now What?

So what do we do with all that??

At this point, I admit that in the technical sense, it’s not super clear yet what will become of these number patterns. I really wasn’t approaching this from the perspective of trying to get some mathematical mystery out of the frequency of my dreams nor was I suggesting that you should either. There was a time when I had considered that possibility but I think for now, the best answer is – time will tell!

“Here is what I have found,” says the Preacher,
“Adding one thing to the other to find out the reason,
Ecclesiastes 7:27 (NKJV)

Because all these dreams are about a science and technology invention, there is a chance God may have put something in here that may actually be technically relevant. That certainly would be possible especially since God Himself is very precise and we humans did not invent engineering or math – He did! The more we study the details of all creation in the universe, the more we find increasingly that God is no stranger to extreme precision and much of it we have not even yet discovered.

So the point here is that your dreams will most likely have aspects that reflect the type of calling you have. If science and technology is not your thing, no problem, there’s a good chance perhaps this kind of thing won’t necessarily show up in your own life calling dream series. But I don’t want to try to limit you from the idea that there could be something like this.
