Biblical Basis For Healing of the Mind
Although I did not explain it in the podcast, the Biblical basis for healing of mental conditions is found in the 3rd part of the verse below (chastisement for our peace). Peace deals with the state of the mind and mental conditions disrupt our peace.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5 (KJV)
In the Olive Tree Enhanced Strong’s Dictionary, “peace” comes from the Hebrew… h7965, shalom; and means: soundness (in body) welfare, health, prosperity, peace, quiet, tranquillity, contentment.
Just because miracle healings of this type are rare, that does not mean they are impossible! When you learn the same principles as I did, I believe you will be able to achieve the same results.
