Dreams Of Being Paralyzed Or Unable To Speak? Here’s What They Mean & How To Stop Them

Have you ever had a dream where you could not speak or move? Have you ever woken up with sleep paralysis that had no valid medical diagnosis? If so, in this blog I’m going to give you the reason behind paralysis dreams and how to stop them. I have had dreams of this kind in the past but, the reason I no longer get them will be explained below. The bottom line is that these are demonic dreams and I believe most of the time, sleep paralysis after you wake up is exactly the same cause. Social Media Dream Groups

In the very long wait to get my invention business started, I’ve had to come up with productive ways to use my time. One of those has been to check out what non-Christians in social media groups have to say about their dreams. Not surprisingly, most of what is posted there are demonic dreams and unfortunately, almost no one (yet) has very much Biblical truth. In the process of reading their dreams on a near-daily basis, I’ve seen many repeat types of dreams which I have dealt with either here in my blogs or in the emails I’ve received since 2015 when I began interpreting through this website.

One such social media group is https://www.reddit.com/r/Dreams/. If you happen to go to that site, you can look for me and and any of my replies under my username BlueCubeRocket at: https://www.reddit.com/user/BlueCubeRocket. You will quickly see what I’m talking about when I say most of them are non-Christians, and witchcraft / new age principles are primarily used to “interpret” the dreams posted there. Just like in the times of Daniel and Joseph in the Bible, all attempts to interpret dreams that are not Biblically based will produce complete garbage. It’s like when you try to program a computer without knowledge of computer language or the principles for how computers function.

Not to get into a long discussion about all that (since that is not our topic for today) but, I wanted to give an introduction to why I’m dealing with dreams where you cannot speak or cannot move, which are very common for many people. Root Cause Of Paralysis Dreams

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)

First, dreams where you cannot speak or move are demonic but, these are the lowest levels of demons you may encounter. These are demons that come to you in the night and try to overpower you. When you are at a lesser-mature stage as a Christian, these demons can stop you from moving or speaking because you have not yet developed enough spiritual strength to overcome them.

God allows demonic attacks in our sleep because we are all required to go through a process of becoming spiritually mature, past the baby stage and child stage, all the way up to full sonship maturity. In the process of developing properly, we are also required to advance in rank in the Kingdom of God from prince to king to emperor, and that process mandates that we become proficient in spiritual warfare.

Since I was never taught any of this in my first 40 years of life in mainstream churches, I have had dreams where I could not speak or move. But, as I began learning what the Kingdom of God is, and how it operates, I developed more spiritual strength such that these kinds of dreams became increasingly rare (or not at all within the last couple years).

TIP: If you experience one of these demonic dreams where you cannot speak or move, you can say “Jesus” repeatedly in your mind and I have seen that break the demon’s hold.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Paralysis After Waking Up?

Although I cannot speak competently about experiences of paralysis after you wake up, I believe the root cause may very well be the same as above – demons. In the Bible, it is very clear that all types of sickness, disease, or physical disorders originates with the devil. In the last decade, I have witnessed many healing miracles and even experienced some myself. If you have experienced paralysis immediately after waking up, try doing the same thing I wrote above – start saying the name Jesus either out loud or in your mind until you are able to move again.

“Divine Sparring Sessions with Principalities and Powers”

In my late teens I entered college, and in those days, I struggled with fasting. I never could complete a three-day fast. I struggled and wrestled for a year and a half with fasting back and forth until I broke through and something changed in my life. During that season, I wrestled with evil spirits. I remember how those spirits would come on me when I was asleep at night. You know how when you are asleep and a demon comes on you and you try to call Jesus but you can’t move your mouth? Your mouth seems to be paralyzed and you got to call Jesus in the spirit until that spirit breaks off you. That is what I had to deal with in those days.

I went through that struggle for a season, wrestling as a prince to breakthrough, but once I become a king it stopped. Evil spirits could not come upon me anymore because my dominion increased. I have never had that happen to me again because when you enter kingship God puts you in a bubble of protection where you no longer experience those kinds of attacks. However, before I broke through, I had to learn how to be a prince. In the early stages of your walk with the Lord, He allows different spirits to give you wrestling matches so you can gain momentum in the Holy Ghost and start learning to exercise your spiritual power.

God allows you to wrestle with evil spirits to teach you spiritual warfare! David said in Psalms, “Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight,” (Psalm 144:1). God uses seasons when you wrestle with evil spirits to teach your hands to war! Those are sparring sessions! That is when you learn how to put on the armor of God. You learn this in your princeship before you ever become a king. Kings use this technique of sparring to train their children in the art of warfare. Have you seen movies where a king has a son and he delivers him over to his warriors to learn how to fight? The king does this so his son learns to be a warrior by wrestling with men stronger than him.

This is a critical process in your princeship because once you become a king you walk in dominion – you are no longer dealing with make-believe matches – you wage real wars. When you are a child God puts you in the arena of wrestling, sparring with different beings like Jacob did when he wrestled all night with an angel of God. In the same way, God uses these demons fighting you in dreams and trying to come on you at night when you sleep as practice to keep you in shape and prepare you for real battles. Those are sparring sessions to train your hands and fingers to fight! Praying and fasting help you develop the strength to win those battles. Do you remember when you came off your first long fast? You came out of that fast with power! That is when you start prevailing spiritually.
