Guess what?! It’s another airplane dream (I’m sure you’re surprised). But this one had, as you guessed, a very important lesson containing practical wisdom for future success. If you ever had something not work out in the past, when all your dreams and your faith said it should have, keep reading. I’m about to tell you of a situation that went badly for me a few years ago but could have worked out much better. In the midst of this lesson is another one about forgetting the past and letting God work out all things for your good.

A Dream Of A Long Flight

October 18, 2022 – I’m on an airline jumbo jet with lots of passengers and I’m walking around to different seating areas. I’m either in back with huge recliner movie seats or in the front with normal seats. At one point, I’m in the front section looking at a shop that has different kinds of dried chopped dates in containers. I’m looking at them wondering what the price is for each. Then it seemed the front section changed and that shop wasn’t there now. Seemed this was a long distance flight. Some people were in groups talking, others were just individual passengers who kept to themselves. 

Here are the primary symbols explained…

• Dried dates = paying a price to obtain spiritual fruit from a past mistake, a situation that cut off the works of the flesh and pride (chopped; see the explanation of my costly mistake below).
• Prices = considering various options by comparing options, also a wordplay for times on a calendar from the past (how to intelligently analyze, with an open mind, various ways God may want to provide for you). 
• Jumbo jet = many people on a long personal journey where God puts them through a development process in order to get them to their destination / calling. 
• Movie seats = taking a back seat for rest & recreation (balance between spiritual and natural), also a time of seclusion / shutting in for receiving revelation; movies can represent stories & metaphors that have spiritual meaning.  
• Back to front = a natural cycle of focusing on spiritual matters but, then switching to natural matters for balance; can also relate to times when I am more or less active in posting new content on this website.
• Front = in the forefront, an important matter, also publicly visible (see the explanation of my mistake below). 
• Back = a place of rest, “taking a back seat”, not out in public, secluded; everything is different after the last couple years of shutting in (balance is a mandatory part of our supernatural development because it helps us avoid becoming hyper-spiritual and filled with spiritual pride like Lucifer). 

Additional comments: Flying on a jet is a type of common dream, which means that many people have them often and they use symbols commonly seen in every day life. This is partly why you see so many airplane dreams here in my blogs. Although not part of my dream, if you look at the cover image at the top of this blog, looking through a window can represent God giving you prophetic revelation; looking out the window of a jet flying high can represent God giving you “high level” spiritual understanding of a situation.

Context of Dream & Real Life Circumstances

This dream took place the night after I learned a hard lesson from a mistake I made 3 years ago involving a vehicle purchase which I wrote about in my ebook, Marvel Dream Revelations. I had bought a new vehicle according to multiple dreams and total faith that everything would work out, despite the fact I had no regular income. God had already told me several times in dreams that I was not allowed to have any jobs and I understood it was part of my calling to learn to live by faith for everything. Well, in only a few months, that purchase turned into a debt I could no longer pay. When that happened, I was dismayed and confused about what went wrong.

But… The sad part of the story is that the solution came to me in a form which I rejected – a family member offered repeatedly to pay part of the cost. I was so narrow minded at the time, expecting only one way God was going to pay off the vehicle – by a big miracle. That is what my dreams seemed to suggest but that was also my assumption (or presumption). In looking back, it became obvious that the root of my problem was simple: pride. If I had developed more humility and meekness, I could have seen that God was trying to use this family member as part of my solution. If I had recognized and accepted that, it is very likely God would have followed that up by showing me the next step to get it all fully paid off.

The day before this dream, I was in the midst of trying this whole scenario all over again but finally, I got the message. As soon as I realized my mistake and I remembered a dream that showed 2 prominent investors looking at me right in the house where a family gathering took place. Those “2 investors” included a family member I am vaguely referring to above.

In my defense, at the time this took place, I was not at all comfortable with telling my immediate family what was really going on with me, mostly because they did not have any understanding of spiritual matters. I felt I was not able to talk to most everyone here because in previous years, when I tried to bring up everything I write about here in my blogs, they either took no action on what I said or worse, some kept coming up with excuses and arguments for why they rejected everything I said.

Lesson Learned / Practical Wisdom

So… although I made a big mistake, it is still a valid point to say that the people who could have helped were also part of the problem. Overwhelmingly at the time, I felt I was locked in a situation from which there was no escape. This is where I say, looking back now, God used that horrible disaster to teach me something that I did finally grasp. I will omit all the details for now but, I will say that the current vehicle purchase arrangement is being done very much like how God wanted me to do it 3 years ago. This time, I did accept the help of a literal investor who came forward offering to pay the price of the vehicle. I guess we can say, that’s why my previous dream showed “2 investors”; one from the first experience and the second for the current one.

Here is the main point – if you are in a situation like mine, do not limit God to only one way of providing what you need. I have been getting the idea that God is many times far more willing to provide for us if we put our pride to death and step out in faith, doing things that, on the surface, make no logical sense and cause us to be very uncomfortable. My current vehicle purchase has made me very uncomfortable for reasons that would take too long to describe but, this time it is actually working out!

As you can see from the primary symbols explained at the top, there is far more I could say about the meaning of this dream. In order to keep this short and only focus on the primary lesson, I chose to omit several more paragraphs of additional explanation. I believe that sometimes, it’s best to keep certain discussions short for the sake of not overwhelming the reader with too much information.
